Information Centre
An information centre for the northern circuit is located along Boma Road in downtown Arusha.The Centre provides detailed information on tourist attractions, facilities and activities available in the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Most safaris depart from Arusha town and the information centre is a must for visitors. Internet facillities available. Promotional publications, wildlife books, cards, audio cassettes and
CD-ROMs are also available.

Loduare Gate
There is a display room depicting the dramatic ecology, ethnography and topography of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area at Loduare Gate, the main entry gate to the NCA.

E-mail facilities can be made available to visitors upon request.

Museum
Oldupai Gorge museum is a facinating journey back in time to the very beginning of mankind.
Realistic copies of the most important discoveries
can be viewed with ease and after an interesting lecture on the work which has been carried out by scientists, guided tours of the sites can be taken with experienced NCA guides.

Walking
For the adventurous traveller,
multi-day walking safaris can be arranged in the more remote areas of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area.
Olmoti and Empakaai Craters,
the Gol Mountains, Salei Plains, Olkarien Gorge and Oldupai
Gorge are all areas visited with trained guides and local Maasai with their donkeys carrying the necessities.
